This small family cemetery, also known as the Brett Family Cemetery, is located on South Avenue. Only one stone is still visible, that of Maria Wiltse, who was buried in 1797. The stone is toppled, but still legible.
This cemetery is located on what was once a part of the Brett property. No documentation survives, but it’s thought that Catheryna’s husband, Roger, and their two children, Thomas and Rivery are buried here.
At one time, there were several more stones in this cemetery. They are listed in “Old Gravestones of Dutchess County, New York” by J. W. Poucher published in 1924, page 72.
