The story of Beacon’s history lies buried in its cemeteries. The headstones, the monuments, and the markers there are the memorials to the men and women who played important roles in the making of our city – factory workers and factory owners, Civil War generals and our heroic enlisted men, great estate holders and the common folk whose hard work built Beacon.

We invite you to visit our cemeteries and to rediscover Beacon’s past. More than just peaceful beauty, our cemeteries are reminders of the generations gone before and the ever-present need to respect their memory by preserving these historic and hallowed grounds.
